Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Document Controller to join our dynamic project team. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth flow of documentation and data across multiple project phases. The ideal candidate will have experience in document control and data management systems, strong organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors. This position is contingent upon contract award.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform technical and administrative duties including electronic receipt, recording, tracking, reporting, and disposition of documentation in project document management and collaboration systems.
- Assist in preparing PDDM project activity plans, expediting supplier documentation, transmitting project deliverables, managing internal and external document review processes, and supporting project close-out.
- Ensure timely completion of client requirements and maintain backup documentation.
- Collaborate with co-workers and other departments to meet deadlines and achieve client goals.
- Authorized to release specified documents without senior-level quality checks.
- Follow and execute PDDM Quality and Execution Plans.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Job Requirements
- Combination of education and directly related experience equal to four (4) years; additional qualifications may apply based on local requirements.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences including management, coworkers, clients, vendors, and contractors.
- Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a time-conscious, time-effective manner.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (General Certificates of Secondary Education or global equivalent).
- Four (4) years of project-related experience.
- Intermediate computer skills and knowledge of specialized software such as electronic document management systems, relational databases, and project collaboration tools.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to adapt to change, work under pressure, and manage multiple priorities.
