Job Description
Fluor is seeking a SAP S/4HANA Finance Systems Integrator to work remotely as a member of the Finance Business Process Integration (FBPI) team. The SAP Finance Systems Integrator will report to the Finance Director supporting our global enterprise finance systems and operations. This position serves as the Finance Systems Subject Matter Expert (SME), linking functional and technical teams across Finance (Accounting, Tax, and Treasury), Supply Chain, and Information Technology (IT) to deliver system solutions and business process efficiency.
Fluor is on a transformational journey to upgrade our SAP ECC 6.0 system to S/4 HANA private cloud platform to modernize our system landscape. The ideal candidate will combine deep financial acumen, system implementation experience, and a passion for solving problems with scalable, technology-driven solutions.
The position is responsible for evaluating, implementing, testing, and integrating SAP solutions resulting from production support needs, business growth initiatives, regulatory requirements, process improvements, and enterprise transformation projects.
PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide second level customer support to analyze global SAP Finance - General Ledger, Asset Accounting, Tax, and Treasury processes. Collaborate with cross-functional SMEs across Finance, IT, and Supply Chain to trouble shoot production issues and resolve system defects
- Identify and recommend process optimization and automation opportunities that improve financial reporting, accounting, tax, treasury, compliance, and operational efficiency
- Manage and support system integrations, interface monitoring, business rules, master data mappings, and issue resolution across SAP Finance and connected applications
- Implement system changes following IT change management policies and the integrated build schedule
- Host/facilitate discovery sessions, gather requirements, prepare documentation, determine the appropriate build schedule, review test plans, coordinate/perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities to ensure business, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance requirements are met
- Collaborate with internal IT architects, developers, QA teams, and/or external system integration partners, banks, and third-party software vendors to deliver scalable and compliant Finance system solutions
- Evaluate, manage, and communicate the downstream impact of system changes with various stakeholders, such as: organization change management, education, work process changes, UAT, updates to security job roles, training, cutover/go-live tasks, and post implementation support
- Partner with global team members and stakeholders working in different time zones across the US, Canada, India, Philippines, and other countries

Basic Job Requirements
- Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or related field
- Eight (8) years of progressive Finance/Accounting related work experience in a global finance organization with multi-entity, multi-office, and shared services environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
- Ability to understand and apply applicable regulatory, statutory, and compliance requirements across local, state/provincial, and federal/national jurisdictions
- Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
Other Job Requirements
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance processes and cross-functional integration points supporting Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, and Order-to-Cash
- Experience supporting ERP transformation, cloud migration, or digital finance modernization initiatives
- Experience translating business requirements into functional specifications, solution designs, testing strategies, and deployment plans
- Solid understanding of US GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting
- Experience working within SOX-compliant environments, supporting internal and external audits, and implementing effective financial controls
- Analytical thinker with problem solving skills, able to work independently and as part of a team
- Self-motivated with the ability to take the initiative, multi-task and prioritize deliverables
- Excellent interviewing and listening skills
- Ability to travel for business trips, approximately 5-10%
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance including Universal Journal, Group Reporting, Parallel/Extension Ledgers, Fixed Asset Depreciation Areas, Real Estate and Lease Accounting, SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC), Intercompany/Transfer Pricing, Joint Venture Accounting, and Advance Financial Closing (AFC)
- Experience supporting a Treasury Management System (TMS) or SAP Treasury module with administration tasks, bank/payment integrations, and master data
- Experience supporting an indirect Tax system with GL integration or a Vertex system upgrade from Series Q to O.
- Experience supporting SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), automation technologies, AI-enabled finance solutions, and enterprise integration framework
- Supervisory experience with ability to lead, develop, and provide direction to staff

Market Rate Statement: The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.

Salary Range: $108,000.00 - $201,000.00
