Job Description
This role is based in the Fluor Antwerp office and involves leading a team of engineers to deliver high-quality process design work across various project phases, including feasibility studies, FEED, and EPC. You’ll work closely with both internal teams and client representatives to ensure successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers to develop drawings and specifications for feasibility studies, FEED, and EPC projects
- Manage and execute Fluor’s scope of work, ensuring all process design specifications meet contract requirements
- Develop and manage project schedules and effort-hour budgets
- Interface and collaborate with client representatives to align on contract requirements and expectations
- Work with other Fluor disciplines to produce coordinated, interdisciplinary documentation
- Organize and prioritize multiple projects and tasks effectively to meet deadlines
- Review and check the work of others to ensure quality and consistency in process design
- Mentor and support team members by sharing knowledge and coaching where needed
Basic Job Requirements
• Bachelor or Master degree in Chemical Engineering
• At least 14+ years of relevant work experience in a similar role
• Minimum 5+ years experience as a Lead Engineer leading a team
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
