Job Description
***Must have an active (or ablity to obtain and maintain) TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance***
This position is responsible for coordinating the effective execution of all maintenance and operations support activities for a medium to large maintenance contract and/or small capital project. This position requires a working knowledge and background of assigned work, the ability to appreciate and resolve complex situations with assistance, and see actions as a series of steps. This role requires proficiency in directing general foremen and foremen within their craft as necessary in their roles to meet or exceed all project objectives.
• Plan and direct the work activities within assigned maintenance crafts in alignment with available deliverables, tools, equipment, and materials; coordinate with other crafts as necessary
• Approve or authorize the coordination of craft personnel, material, and equipment needed to meet schedules
• Directly support project and O&M management with planning and utilization of proper means and methods for all construction activities
• Analyze situations, identify and forecast pertinent problems and evaluate realistic options; and recommend/implement appropriate course of action
• Adhere to and support Fluor's Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies
• Able to prioritize and schedule Corrective and Preventive Maintenance tasks within Fluor’s multi-shift Operations department.
• Must coordinate with trades supervisors and project managers in order to de-conflict major maintenance activities while maintaining safe operations of critical equipment.
• Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements.
• Must be able to lead teams to ensure they work in a safe manner utilizing all required PPE, site safety plans and safe work practices at all times.
• Duties include; inspects field work performed; assigns weekly preventative and corrective maintenance tasking; maintains records of work order requests and completion.
• Supervises, assigns, and reviews the work of staff; sets performance standards and evaluates staff; reviews performance evaluations prepared by subordinate supervisors; trains, counsels, and disciplines staff; conducts interviews and selects staff to be hired or promoted.
• Prepares worker accident reports; identifies and resolves safety hazards for staff; arranges for employee safety training; maintains safety records and personnel certifications.

Basic Job Requirements
• Craft certification, training, and experience appropriate for assignment scope; directly related experience equal to twelve (12) years; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner

• Typically direct subordinate Craft Superintendents within assigned craft, and other line supervision within assigned craft such as General Foremen and Foremen; depending on job size and complexity
• Typically serve as lead person to coordinate all activities within their assigned scope in an active construction work area
• Coordinate and implement indirect activities, internal and external, required to support a productive construction execution; including functional staff support, support craft activities, and any other resource necessary to assure a safe and quality execution
• Generally responsible to assure all work undertaken is within approved scope boundaries and is in full compliance with all pertinent requirements
• Typically represent the company as the in situ senior representative for assigned craft
Preferred Qualifications
• Accredited degree or global equivalent or minimum six (6) years of project and/or site management experience
• Recommend a minimum six (6) years of project and/or site management experience
• Comprehensive understanding of facility management, including plant operations, maintenance, engineering, janitorial services, safety, grounds, and related services
• Ability to delegate tasks
• Familiarity and knowledge of Work Order Control (WOC) procedures and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
• Project experience
• Proven ability promoting outstanding customer service and client relations
• Excellent skills in interpersonal relations, conflict resolution
• Basic computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, e-mail, spreadsheets and electronic presentation programs
• Functional proficiency in project controls, human relations, industrial relations, and contract management as it applicable to assigned area of responsibility
• Demonstrated strong decision making, critical thinking and problem solving skills

Market Rate Statement: The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
