Job Description
The candidate will be responsible for receiving emergency information and dispatching emergency services personnel. In this positions the candidate will be monitoring the communication center, answering 911 and non-emergency calls via land, cellphone and dispatching the response units as needed. The candidate will be logging data and update relative tracking systems and/or reports. May require formal training on relevant Automated Information Systems (AIS). Performs duties in accordance with AR 420-1, DoDI 6055.06, DoD 6055.06-M, AR 525-27, DoDI 6055.06, 29 CFR 1910.120, 49 CFR Part 40, AR 190-45, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1, NFPA 101, NFPA 5000, NFPA 10, 29 CFR 1910.157, TM 3-34.30, DA PAM 525-27, and AR 40-3. Other duties as assigned.
Basic Job Requirements
High school diploma / GED equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and Minimum of four (4) years related experience
Other Job Requirements
Requires the job knowledge, skill level and physical ability necessary to perform assigned job functions. To ensure compliance with safety, health and security requirements in the contract, employee will possess the ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language at the intermediate level as necessary to perform assigned job functions. May require background check and security clearance.
