Job Description
Supervises implementation of HSE programs, policies and subordinate personnel within assigned AOR. Provides HSE services to project/functional management. Performs necessary analysis, audits and investigations of all work sites to minimize the potential for injury or other loss. Uses independent judgment in application of HSE procedures. Plans and executes the functions of a project HSE department, as assigned. Maintains records, reports, and documents to meet company and regulatory requirements. Assures timely investigations, inspections, and reporting of HSE matters. Activities include but are not limited to risk identification and management, incident reporting and investigation, waste minimization, pollution prevention and control, various compliance activities and implementation of various aspects of management systems in all areas of HSE. Performs duties in accordance with AR 385-63, DA Pam 385-63, DoDI 3200.16, international agreements including status of forces agreements, country-specific final governing standards, DoD 4715.05-G, DoD 6055.09-M, and DoDI 4140.62 when working on military ranges. Other duties as assigned.
Basic Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and Minimum of six (6) years related experience
Other Job Requirements
Requires computer skills and proficiency using email, Microsoft Office or specialized applications as necessary to perform assigned job functions. To ensure compliance with safety, health and security requirements in the contract, employee will possess the ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language at the intermediate level as necessary to perform assigned job functions. A professional safety certification is preferred (e.g. CSP/NEBOSH Diploma, OHST/CHST, etc)
