Job Description

This position serves as a Project Warehouse Manager on a Life-science Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, and Construction (EPFC) project. This position will be project based in Boulder, Colorado and the estimated project completion is in 2028. 

Core Duties:

  • Provide technical and administrative direction related to the established Company, Material Management, and/or project policies and procedures
  • Develop a Master Storage Plan ensuring facilities are planned according to material volumes and requirements; take into account the supplier’s/manufacturer’s recommendations to ensure warranty requirements
  • Leverage internal and external resources to administer policies and procedures consistently across all business lines, functions, and locations
  • Analyze situations, identify and forecast pertinent problems and evaluate realistic options; and recommend/implement appropriate course of action
  • Organize and prioritize a variety of complex projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet critical time deadlines
  • Adhere to and support Fluor's Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies
  • Develop field material management procedures
  • Monitor field installation sequences to ensure that the right material is being utilized in the right place and that the right amount of material is available to support construction priorities
  • Establish laydown area requirements throughout the jobsite for materials which need to be stored near point of use
  • Develop warehouse and lay down yard construction equipment plan
  • Responsible for the implementation, management, and monitoring of the Material Management Work Process with the approved Corporate Reference Tool for Material Management to meet project requirements and schedule
  • Plan, organize, direct, and control the material management discipline or global indirect function execution
  • Advocate the use of the Material Management knowledge management portals and communities
  • Maintain effective client relationships through client service excellence in execution
  • Prepare and issue relevant Material Management reports
  • Other duties as assigned

Basic Job Requirements

• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and ten (10) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to fourteen (14) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements  

• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders  

• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job  

• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines  

• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner   

Other Job Requirements

  • Experience in Supply Chain, Material Management or Warehouse Management for the EPCM industry
  • Experience proactively managing change management
  • Ability to find alignment with client and Fluor client procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent computer literacy and skills
  • Excellent leadership and decision-making skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Accredited degree or global equivalent
  • Applicable professional certification(s) or license(s)
  • Experience should be primarily in the area of material management
  • Experience in EPCM industry with industrial capital expansion projects
  • Experience with life-science projects with a cleanroom

Market Rate Statement: The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.

Salary Range: $118,500.00 - $213,500.00
