Job Description
This position is responsible for providing direction, training, and evaluation of a unit of project business analysts in the maintenance, billing, and financial reporting of client projects. This role provides advice concerning multi-entity and multi-country execution and accounting requirements.
• Ensure that projects have Business Plans and Analysts have a clear understanding of the Prime Contract commercial terms
• Review and analyze project financial performance and assist project management in understanding and communicating financial issues and performance
• Approve Project Profit and Loss (P&L), Balance Sheets, and Backlog Reporting
• Supervise month-end/quarter-end activities
• Analyze foreign exchange transactions and accounting matters for projects executed across multiple geographies
• Apply and analyze local statutory and tax requirements impacting project execution
• Other duties as assigned
Basic Job Requirements
• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and eight (8) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to twelve (12) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner

Preferred Qualifications
• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in business/finance preferred, or equivalent business experience in an Engineering and Construction environment
• Eight (8) years of related Project Business Service (PBS)/project experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent leadership and decision-making skills
• Possess knowledge of international payroll and expatriate policies
• Demonstrated proficiency in the use of personal computer-based business applications
• Demonstrated ability as a power user of Fluor’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) applications
• Has expert level knowledge of the Company’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) system and is capable of identifying and resolving system issues and training Team members

Compressed work schedule: The Fluor Canada offices work a compressed work schedule offering every second Friday off.
The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
