Job Description
- Developing plant and piping layouts
- Performing drafting of drawings, including process and instrumentation diagrams, material take off, stress sketches, and isometrics, as well as arrangement drawings and other documentation as required to support a project
- Fluor's task force project execution concept provides designers with a full range of assignments comprising of preliminary feasibility studies through to the completion of detailed engineering drawings
- Develop practical piping experience gained through field assignments
Basic Job Requirements
- Graduating in Piping, Mechanical, Civil or equivalent Engineering Technologist Diploma in 2025/2026.
- Qualified candidates must possess strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, e-mail, spreadsheets, and electronic presentation programs
- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
- Required to have good working knowledge of 2D CAD drafting and are required to work in a computer-based 3D Design environment. Previous experience using CAD, AutoCAD, Microstation 2D, and Intergraph 3D is a definite asset, but in-house training is available
