Job Description
This position provides project technical and administrative support in a team environment. Working closely with a manager or team, this role will perform basic project administrative responsibilities as assigned.
• Network with other project support technicians in order to strengthen relationships to assure cross-selling and coverage during absences
• Perform technical and administrative duties including, but are not limited to: report preparation, presentations, engineering specifications, setting up and maintaining project files in project databases
• Provide general administrative support including meeting coordination, maintaining project files, project closeout, and file retention
• Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards
• Plan, organize, and carry out assignments as directed • Adhere to and support Fluor’s Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies
• Other duties as assigned
Basic Job Requirements
• No educational or directly related experience required; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
Other Job Requirements
• Serve as a Company representative to external clients
• Participate in Fluor University for training and career development
• Participate in the Administrative Support Knowledge Community
• Participate in department/project meetings and training
Preferred Qualifications
• Familiar with typical software programs, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Notes Mail
• Typically has no project related experience
