The position is responsible for the coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of the Success Factors Project and the other specific assigned Fluor HRSS (Human Resource Shared Services) projects, while ensuring consistency with Fluor’s HR PMO Governance. Responsible for providing project management support in the implementation of the ECSC module of the Success Factors Project. Furthermore, and in conjunction to its role in the Success Factors implementation, this role is responsible for the efficient transition of new work to HRSS, ensure specified projects are on time and within budget and cover full scope and lifecycle commitments including effective project planning, communications, training and post-project follow-up. Ensures timely and appropriate communication with Sponsors, Stakeholders and other aligned parties.
Success Factors ECSE Project:
- Ensure all testing resources for the Success Factors ECSC implementation are aligned
- Coordinate and work with the training lead on the timely training and certification of members, in line with the Success Factors ECSC implementation
- Provide the necessary project management support to the Content Management Coordinator on the Knowledgebase implementation
- Assist where needed and work with the Change Management Lead / HR Systems Team on communications and & change management efforts
- Track and report on the progress of the ESCS ramp up activities (during and post implementation)
HRSS Scope Migration Projects:
- Lead the planning and implementation of assigned HRSS projects - including defining scope, creation of detailed desktop procedures, determining resources (time, money, equipment etc.)
- Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
- Identify risks, create contingency actions and develop risk plan for each
- Define project tasks and resource requirements
- Develop the Migration Implementation Plan
- Clarify completion criteria for each deliverable and develop acceptance plan
- Identify and coordinate project staff – in coordination with management and Business owners, identify all key players and process owners and areas of responsibilities
- Coordinate project resource allocation
- Plan and schedule project timelines – identifying and sequencing events to meet schedule
- Implement projects according to project plan, set up regular project meetings
- Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
- Develop effective communication strategies for assigned HRSS projects
- Constantly monitor and report on project(s) progress, issues and needs to all stakeholders
- Implement and manage project changes, notify management of missed key dependencies and potential issues which impact project schedule and/or budget
- Evaluation and review outcomes and facilitate After Action reviews
Basic Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or a combination of education and related work experience with knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
- 2+ years of related program/project management experience
- Project Management Certification (PgMP, PfMP, PMP) desired
- Highly developed Microsoft Project skills and related (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and SharePoint)
- Experience with metric creation and reporting
- Demonstrated management, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project management, communication and presentation skills
- Broad experience in: Project Management, Communications, Relationship Building, Analytics, Innovation and Process Flow / Process Re-engineering
- Service leadership responsibility with experience meeting financial requirements while delivering against client satisfaction and SLAs

- Global experience preferred
- Previous Fluor experience preferred
- Understanding of HR principles, laws and practices. SPHR/PHR certification.
- Technical understanding of HR Systems, how they work together and the downstream impact of data quality
- Knowledge of the Success Factors System
- Knowledge on Agile project management approach
