We are looking for a Project Manager to join our team in Fluor’s Nordic.
The Project Manager plays a key role heading up a project within engineering, procurement, fabrication and construction (EPFC/CM) - or you act as Project Manager on an assigned segment of a larger project. You will be responsible for establishing the execution framework that complies with the contract.
As Project Manager you are on top of the classical PM tools and practices such as scheduling, work breakdown structure, cost control, progress measurement, risk management etc.
You have an engrained focus on health, safety and environmental impact as a part of your leadership which you emphasize throughout all phases of the project.
You can motivate and guide the project team to increased performance and create an atmosphere of trust, respect and professionalism in our diverse cultural environment.
Finally, the Project Manager interacts closely with our clients to deliver projects that fulfill their expectations in terms of execution, safety, costs, productivity and has an eye for our contractual commitments.
Basic Job Requirements
• You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or another relevant field.
• You have approximately 10 years of experience as Project Manager and/or Project Lead.
• You have worked with EPCM projects in the Life Science/Advance Technology industry.
• You possess good listening skills and can put yourself in the shoes of our clients, vendors, and other collaboration partners to understand their needs.
• You are a strong communicator which enables you to get your messages across effectively.
• Finally, you enjoy working in an international environment with colleagues from around the world.
Other Job Requirements
Requires computer skills and proficiency using email, Microsoft Office or specialized applications as necessary to perform assigned job functions. To ensure compliance with safety, health and security requirements in the contract, employee will possess the ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language at the intermediate level as necessary to perform assigned job functions.
