Job Description
Manages the Goverment Property function and personnel within assigned Area of Responsibility (AOR). Ensures compliance with all requirements relating to the receipt, tracking, usage and disposition of government property as specified in applicable sections the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and the Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS). Position maintains responsibility for the Master Property Book of Record (including electronic government property control systems and all sub-hand receipts) as necessary to verify proper receipt, tracking, usage and disposition of all government property in Fluorâs possession under a project or task order at all times. Manages the development, communication, and consistent use of Property Control Practices/Systems and related operations which ensure full compliance with all applicable requirements as demonstrated by Federal government review/audit ratings at or above the âsatisfactoryâ level throughout the program. Manages, trains, and develops subordinate staff and project personnel in a manner that ensures their full understanding of and compliance with all contractual and regulatory requirements. Ensures the timely preparation and distribution of required Government Property Management reports, reflecting priority emphasis on Unique Identification (UID) items, physical verification of inventories, Loss Damage/Destruction (LDD) reports, DD 1149 (Transfer/Surplus) and annual DD1662 (Property in the Contractorâs possession) reports throughout FGG Contingency Operations. Other duties as assigned.
Basic Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and nine (9) years to twelve (12) years related experience.
Other Job Requirements
Requires computer skills and proficiency using email, Microsoft Office or specialized applications as necessary to perform assigned job functions. To ensure compliance with safety, health and security requirements in the contract, employee will possess the ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language at the intermediate level as necessary to perform assigned job functions. NPMA certification (CPPA/CPPM) preferred.
