Job Description
This position supports a center of excellence for proposal development and production with the focus of supporting the businesses in the winning of work by providing overall coordination, editing, writing, formatting, graphics, desktop publishing, presentations, production, and systems to support the Business Lines’ sales and marketing, functional, and corporate requirements. This role typically provides the conceptual development and execution of design principles and has Marketing Services coordination responsibilities and direct and indirect reporting relationships with the Marketing Services Director, Marketing Services Manager, Marketing Specialists, Marketing Technicians, and/or the Graphics functional director.

You will find success in your ability to:
- Plan, organize, and coordinate the design development of proposals, qualifications, presentations, internal publications, and multimedia marketing collateral with a focus of supporting the winning of work across all business lines working with other Marketing Services specialists
- Provide highly creative graphic design for production of printed sales and marketing materials including illustrations and photographs for proposals, qualification documents, and presentations and multimedia projects
- Conceptualize, design, and produce sales and marketing collateral, including brochures, advertisements, tradeshow booth materials, videos, and website content support in a deadline-driven environment
- Manage, coordinate, produce, and revise graphics and page layout for sales proposals, presentations, and qualifications
- Work directly with the proposal manager and/or business line sales to produce proposals that fully reflect the client requirements and needs
- Participate in the kickoff meeting, proposal reviews, and proposal-planning meetings to provide creative, visual ideas
- Work closely with client and business line personnel on presentations; can make changes in a presentation room, in-house and offsite
- Ensure adherence to the corporate brand and quality standards
- Work with peers to define, develop, and implement standards for graphics to effect uniform, high-quality graphic output
- Support individual business line, functional groups, and/or proposal teams to develop strategic messaging and visuals for client submittals that will enable Fluor to be the successful bidder
- Support business lines and/or functional groups to create and implement communication and/or marketing plans to ensure effective promotion of Fluor’s professional and technical solutions in the marketplace
- Coordinate responses for internal and external client requests
- Communicate the business line service offerings and corporate strategies that can be included in client and internal documents
- Facilitate team member/client/leadership requests to enhance Fluor’s visibility
- Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines
- Organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines
- Plan and organize own work assignments, as well as carry out tasks from management staff
- Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards
- Adhere to and support Fluor’s Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies
- May need to travel to attend to business related matters
- Meet expectations on attendance and punctuality

Basic Job Requirements
- Accredited four-year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and four years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to eight years* if non-degreed
- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
- Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat; Microsoft PowerPoint and Word
- Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
- Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
- An online portfolio or PDF with graphic examples is required
Other Job Requirements
- Accredited four‑year degree or global equivalent in graphic design and four years of experience
- Expert skills using the current versions of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Premiere Pro, and Microsoft PowerPoint in a Windows environment; knowledge with Adobe After Effects, Animate, and/or Blender a plus
- Advanced knowledge of a variety of software packages including desktop publishing packages and capability to integrate into final product
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with ability to lead are a must
- Able to organize, expedite, and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Keen sense of attention to detail
- Able to handle stress, work with high energy, and work beyond normal work hours, as needed, with little to no advance notice
- Able to accommodate a flexible schedule; willing and able to adapt to the demands of a high-paced corporate environment
- Able to manage others and work with minimal supervision
- Capable of applying marketing principles to Fluor’s business activities
