Job Description

The purpose of this position is to work on routine assigned tasks which are tactical and administrative in nature by assisting and supporting other Contract Management specialists and Technicians.

• Establishing and maintaining filing systems (electronic and hardcopy).

• Receiving, distributing and filing of correspondence from Contractors.

• Supporting Contract Administrators in the preparation and distribution of Minutes of Meeting and other correspondence.

• Providing support to the Contract Administrators in tracking, expediting, collecting and collating contractor’s daily, weekly and monthly reports and other regular data submissions.

• Inputting and updating data contained in internal contract management software system (CMSi).

• Preparation of contract reports (under guidance).

• Supporting Contracts Administrators in verification of monthly contractor invoices.

• Other administrative duties as required

Basic Job Requirements

• A combination of education and directly related experience equal to three (3) years; some locations may have additional or different qualifications to comply with local requirements

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors

• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner

Other Job Requirements

• Stay current/updated with Contract Management practices and procedures; remain informed of current developments and potential changes within the Contract Management group

• Participate in Fluor University® for training and career development

• Ability to provide thorough and skillful administrative support

• Strong organizational skills

• Ability to multi-task and prioritize to achieve project goals

• Flexibility to handle multiple routine and non-routine tasks daily

• Ability to learn contract management work processes and perform related tasks

• Ability to create and maintain tracking logs and lists

• Experience in creating expense reports

Compressed work schedule: The Fluor Canada offices work a compressed work schedule offering every second Friday off. 

The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
