Principal Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Develop a Master Storage Plan ensuring facilities are planned according to material volumes and requirements; take into account the supplier’s/manufacturer’s recommendations to ensure warranty requirements
• Develop warehouse and lay down yard construction equipment plan
• Full time presence at the project site is required through duration of project
• Responsible for handling of hazardous and toxic materials, outbound shipments, construction equipment control, tool and supply controls, and disposal of surplus and scrap
• Generate Request for Quotation (RFQ)/Purchase Orders (PO) in the approved material management reference system either for project, estimate or proposal work
• Other duties as assigned
Basic Job Requirements
• Prior Fluor experience including knowledge and use of Fluor Material Management tool MatMan® is mandatory
• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and ten (10) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to fourteen (14) years if non-degreed
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
Other Job Requirements
Field Material Management
• On smaller projects, develop a well-defined and integrated Site Material Management Plan in support of construction
• On smaller projects, establish field materials manpower (staff and craft) requirements and schedule
• Develop a Master Storage Plan ensuring facilities are planned according to material volumes and requirements; take into account the supplier’s/manufacturer’s recommendations to ensure warranty requirements
• Coordinate work process for material/equipment deficiency overages, shortages and damages with project procurement manager
• Perform material take-offs from engineering drawings
• Develop field material management procedures
• On smaller projects, establish informational flows among various stakeholders: Construction, Procurement, Engineering, Project Controls, Accounts Payable
Preferred Qualifications
• Ability to communicate fluently in English (read, write, and speak)
• Applicable professional certification(s) or license(s)
• Experience should be primarily in the area of material management
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent computer literacy and skills
• Excellent leadership and decision-making skills
• International project experience
• Experience working with craft unions

Market Rate Statement: The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.

Salary Range: $102,000.00 - $184,000.00
