Job Description
Position Summary
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic people leader for the Advanced Technologies & Life Sciences (ATLS) organization, leveraging business understanding to align people strategies with execution and long-term success. The HRBP partners closely with ATLS leadership and HR to advise and deliver talent strategies that support complex global projects.
Responsibilities:
Operating under a OneFluor commitment, the HRBP partners with Regional HR Operational Leads, HR Centers of Expertise (COEs) and other functional teams, managing
complex projects and strategic initiatives to enhance talent, organizational design, and workforce capability across the business.
- Partner with ATLS and operational management to ensure HR services, systems, processes, and programs are designed and executed to meet the workforce needs
- Advise leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, culture, and growth strategies to build sustainable organizational capability in a fast-paced and highly competitive market
- Communicate the ATLS strategy, plans, and people requirements to the broader HR organization to guide the prioritization, design and implementation of HR programs and policies
- Support the pursuit and execution of global projects, partnering with Regional HR for successful execution
- Facilitate workforce mobility in partnership with business, project, and HR leaders to deploy expertise where and when it is needed for successful project delivery
- Assist the implementation and facilitation of corporate led HR activities such as the annual performance assessment process, succession planning, and salary planning
- Collaborate with management to address attraction, development and retention, engaging Regional HR Leads and COEs to design and implement tactical plans and programs
- Drive executive performance management, succession planning and compensation strategy to ensure a pipeline of talent for critical roles
- Partner with ATLS leadership and regional HR on the identification and development of hi-potential employees, including HR, through project opportunities, cross functional learning, training, and portfolio assignments
- In close collaboration with the Compensation COE, shape compensation strategies, including bonus and retention programs, ensuring alignment with business priorities
- Use people analytics to make informed decisions regarding retention, engagement, workforce productivity, and hiring trends and translate into action plans
- Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures and global standards
- Adhere to and support Fluor’s HSE and Sustainability policies
- Champions a high-performance, inclusive and innovative environment
- Actively mentor and develop talent to strengthen the leadership pipeline

Basic Job Requirements
Job Requirements
- Accredited 4-year degree or global equivalent and 16 years of work-related experience OR a combination of education and directly related experience equal to 20 years if non-degreed
- At least 5 years’ experience in an HR operational role in an office and/or as a project field HR lead including supporting teams or projects across global regions
- Relevant and progressive HR experience in a complex business partner role or broad HR leadership position
- Professional HR certification
- Office based position – must be able to work in office 5 days a week
- Domestic and international business travel as required

Market Rate Statement: The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.

Salary Range: $139,000.00 - $258,000.00
