Job Description

The purpose of this position is to support corporate functions and business lines in winning new work, promoting accomplishments by aligning with company strategies and objectives, creating compelling value propositions, developing effective communications materials, and implementing good business administration and marketing practices. This position collaborates with corporate marketing functions and Fluor business lines to develop marketing strategies and incorporate into sales and marketing materials. This position typically has business line/functional intermediate coordination responsibilities and direct/indirect reporting relationships with Marketing Specialists and/or Marketing Technicians. 

In addition, the successful candidate will support various marketing projects by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect and analyze data from various sources, including surveys, databases, and reports.

Assist in the design and implementation of research methodologies and data collection instruments.

Interpret and summarize research findings in clear, concise reports and presentations.

Collaborate with team members to develop research proposals and project plans. 

Maintain accurate and organized records of research activities and data. -

Stay current with relevant industry trends and best practices in research and analysis.

Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to support pursuit pipeline development for government contracts. 

 Support business lines and/or functional groups to create and implement communication and/or marketing plans to ensure effective promotion of Fluor’s integrated solutions in the marketplace

Coordinate responses for internal and external client requests 

Suggest continuous improvement to current work processes, marketing communication plans, and overall business activities, as appropriate 

Work with business lines and functional groups to understand the current situation (market position, competition, current capabilities, culture, and client drivers) to effectively create the content to promote Fluor’s integrated solutions differentiators

Basic Job Requirements

• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and two (2) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to six (6) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors

• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job

• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines

• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner

Preferred Qualifications

• Two (2) years experience in positions that provide a broad view of business, technical writing, project management, and/or industrial marketing

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Proficient computer and software skills and knowledge to include the use of word processing, e-mail, spreadsheet, electronic presentation programs, Lotus Notes, and other marketing-related applications

Market Rate Statement: The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.

Salary Range: $55,000.00 - $94,000.00
