Job Description
This position is responsible for the coordination with the Business Analyst team for historical data & any other ad-hoc support for other business teams. This position assists in developing databases/tools/ dashboards which further assists project / proposal teams for their benchmarking needs. This position acts as a starting milestone for the candidate where they shall learn about the organization’s data centric execution approach.
Principal Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop / apply / enforce understanding on existing solutions utilizing standard procedures and techniques
- Develop/apply appropriate statistical methods & visualizations to be used.
- Develop / apply / enforce all the tasks on hosting environments like Power BI report server.
- Develop / apply / enforce understanding and skills on data analysis to identify patterns and trends.
- Possess experience with Scrum methodology.
- Develop procedures & scripts for migrating data/reports from Dev to QA/Prod
- Develop / apply / enforce understanding for Automation /process improvements.
- Develop / apply / enforce understanding of optimizing SQL Queries, dashboards/reports.
- Prepare checklist/ document processes for future reference.
- Responsible for supporting data-driven decision making by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large sets of data.
- Demonstrate understanding of the Phases of Construction
- Develop/apply with basic business knowledge such as Estimating terminologies (Direct Field Costs (DFC) and Fluor Services costs), Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Cost Elements & Construction associated terminologies.
- Assist in the preparation of tasks in all areas of HDC.
- Establish a fair understanding of Key Quantities and the different Cost Types and Categories of an Estimate
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide relevant insights.
Basic Job Requirements
- Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and eight (8) years* of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to twelve (12) years*
- Possess good problem-solving skills and a self-motivated mindset.
- Possessing interest in data analysis and learning new technologies.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with project
- stakeholders.
- Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national
- statutes and guidelines.
- Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.
- Understanding EPC industry business acumen.

Preferred Qualifications
• Possess practical experience in the use of the automated cost/schedule management systems
• Having leadership roles on various projects is preferred
• May need to travel internationally for project assignments and in support of business related matters
