The position supports the proposal delivery strategy; develops proposal compliance matrices; writes outlines, section directives, and mockups; and edits deliverables in accordance with pursuit and brand requirements. The position establishes proposal schedules and develops resource plans to ensure a timely response. The position also leads development of internal and external marketing collateral and meetings to support the business lines. You will find success in your ability to:
- Plan, organize, and coordinate the development process of proposals, qualifications, client presentations, internal publications, and multimedia marketing collateral
- Assist to determine the scope of work, develop compliance checklists, set the production schedule, coordinate level of services and resources, and track any special requirements
- Provide editorial and coordination services to produce responsive, clear, consistent, and readable documents
- Facilitate (conceptualize, develop, and coordinate) highly creative graphic design for production of sales and marketing materials
- Work directly with the proposal manager and/or business line sales to produce proposals that fully reflect the client’s requirements and needs
- Participate in proposal strategy sessions, kickoff meetings, reviews, and planning meetings
- Organize the process for collecting author input and ensure that all standards are met
- Coordinate marketing activities among corporate headquarters, business lines, Marketing & Proposal Development teams from other offices, and other functional groups
- Ensure adherence to the corporate brand and quality standards
- Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards
- Adhere to and support Fluor’s Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies
Basic Job Requirements
- Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and four (4) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to eight (8) years* if non-degreed
- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
- Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job including Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
- Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent or work experience in English, marketing, proposal development, communications, design, or business preferred
- Strong editorial capabilities, organizational skills, strong interpersonal skills, keen attention to detail, and ability to lead are a must
- Advanced knowledge of a variety of software packages including desktop publishing packages, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, and Microsoft Word and PowerPoint in a Windows environment, online integrated proposal management systems, and capability to integrate into final product
- Able to organize, expedite, and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Able to accommodate a flexible schedule; willing and able to adapt to the demands of a high-paced corporate environment
