Job Description
This position has oversight responsibilities providing direction, coordination, and evaluation of a large unit or units of project business analysts or a major task force project. This role provides administrative direction and supports the Project Business Services (PBS) office management as well as the responsibility to provide advice concerning multi-entity and multi-country execution and accounting requirements. Leaders in this position encourage and drive innovation, work process improvements, automation in processes to bring about efficiencies and accuracy in execution. This position provides leadership with regard to all project financial issues and decisions for, and on behalf of, the project, including communicating and working with other project functional leaders and Strategic Business Unit (SBU)/Corporate Finance on the issue resolution.
• Provide training classes, training goals and direction to ensure growth and development of PBS members
• Develop accounting and tax strategies for the project in cooperation with Fluor financial and tax management and external tax consultants
• Assist the client in obtaining external financing and defining a Cash Management Plan
• Develop plans for the mitigation of risk, including assisting project management in the negotiation of prime contract changes
• Develop and deliver training programs concerning Project Business Services (PBS) policies and procedures in Fluor’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) applications
• Plan and allocate resources to Projects, and prepare department staffing plans
• Other duties as assigned
Basic Job Requirements
• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and twenty (20) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to twenty-four (24) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner

• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in business/finance degree
• Advanced (Masters) degree or global equivalent in the Business Administration area preferreD
• Fifteen (15) years of related Project Business Service (PBS)/project experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Possess knowledge of international payroll and expatriate policies

Market Rate Statement: The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
