Job Description

This position supports Fluor’s enterprise business systems transformation initiatives by leveraging Contract Management experience and enterprise systems knowledge to define, document, validate, and optimize business processes, data, system, and integration requirements. The role entails design, solution validation, deployment, and user adoption activities to help ensure enterprise solutions effectively meet business and operational needs. Work is performed in the home office.
Basic Job Requirements
- Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and fourteen
(14) years* of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to eighteen (18) years* if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
- Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
Other Job Requirements
- Translate Contract Management business, functional, reporting, and compliance requirements into system design requirements
- Evaluate proposed SAP configurations, workflows, reports, interfaces, and integrations to ensure alignment with Contract Management processes, practices, governance, and business objectives
- Participate in business process design workshops and future state operating model development
- Identify process gaps, risks, data requirements, and enhancement opportunities affecting EPC subcontract management execution requirements
- Cross-functional collaboration with internal functions, external system integrators, and other stakeholders to ensure integrated business processes
- Lead development of training materials, work instructions, and business process documentation as part of deployment and user adoption training
- Organize and prioritize a variety of complex tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet critical time deadlines
- May need to travel to attend to business related matters
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Extensive understanding of the construction industry and subcontracting requirements associated engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction/construction management (EPFC/CM)
- Strong understanding of subcontracting principles, commercial strategy, risk management, administration, and compliance requirements
- Experience working across functions to develop sound execution models and strategies
- Demonstrated ability to bridge Contract Management business processes and technology solutions by translating business requirements into system functionality and validating technology solution fit
- Demonstrated experience designing, developing and deploying Contract Management system solutions or major enterprise system deployments
- Experience supporting SAP implementations or other large scale ERP transformations
- Excellent communication, facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and cross functional skills

Market Rate Statement: The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
