Project Engineer – FIDIC Engineer's Representative
• Act as the Engineer's authorized representative on site, providing leadership and oversight of the FIDIC Engineer's services throughout the execution of the Works.
• Serve as the primary interface between EPC Contractor, FIDIC Engineer, and Client, ensuring effective communication, coordination, and timely resolution of project matters.
• Monitor and oversee the EPC Contractor's performance and compliance with the Contract requirements.
• Support the Engineer in the administration of the Contract, including the review and implementation of instructions, variations, claims, determinations, and other contractual matters in accordance with FIDIC principles.
• Lead multidisciplinary coordination among engineering, construction, commissioning, commercial, and stakeholder teams to facilitate successful project delivery, including Interfaces with the PMC Management and Engineering team.
• Identify, manage, and escalate project risks, issues, and opportunities, recommending corrective actions to protect project objectives related to cost, schedule, quality, and operational readiness.
• Represent the FIDIC Engineer in site meetings, technical reviews, progress assessments, and executive-level stakeholder engagements, ensuring alignment between project execution and contractual obligations.
• Provide mentoring, leadership, and supervision to the Engineer's site team while promoting a collaborative, proactive, and results-oriented project environment.
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 12 years of site-based experience on major industrial, manufacturing, semiconductor, cleanroom, EPC, or infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated experience acting as the Engineer's Representative, Resident Engineer, Deputy Project Manager, Construction Manager, or equivalent senior site leadership role.
• Strong understanding of FIDIC contract administration, construction execution, stakeholder management, and dispute avoidance.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken.
• Proven ability to engage effectively with senior management, contractors, regulatory authorities, and multinational project teams.
• Past experience in PMC project and semiconductor will be a plus.
