Summary
This position performs work requiring advanced knowledge and experience related to logistics, with a special
emphasis on customer service and material management. The Consolidated Services Center (CSC) Lead is a
working lead who demonstrates core leadership qualities and is flexible, has excellent communication skills
and is able to adapt easily to change.


Scope
Under the direction of the Logistics Manager the CSC Lead, is responsible for leading daily operations
related to customer service, material management, reproduction and binding services, inbound and
outbound shipment of small parcels and freight and classified material destruction. The CSC lead is
responsible for providing an array of customer driven on demand services within a secure government
facility.
Principal Job Duties & Responsibilities Include but are limited to:
• Manage the replenishment of office supplies and other consumable material
 Lead a small group of dedicated employees to work as a cohesive unit
• Perform distribution-related functions (receiving, issuing, storing and shipping)
• Adhere to site safety policies and procedures, and ensure compliance to OSHA and company regulations
• Perform customer service activities to include but not limited to, answering telephones, communicating
with site customers, carrier representatives and other external personnel
• Greet and assist customer requests at the CSC walk-up storefront
• Deliver and pick-up all official US Mail and local site parcels as required
• Provide reproduction and binding services
• Operate forklift, pallet jack, dollies/carts and other material handling equipment
• Maintain good housekeeping in work areas
• Input information into software programs (such as SAP, Microsoft Office, etc.)
• Organize and maintain records and manage file plans
• Understand and apply fundamental mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and
division)
• Demonstrate strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous process improvement
• Support other elements of the Fluor Logistics Team as directed

Basic Job Requirements

• A combination of education and directly related experience equal to four (4) years; some locations may
have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
• Communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers,
clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner

Other Job Requirements

*** Must have an active TS/SCI with CI Poly security clearance ***

• Ability to obtain and maintain forklift operator certification
• Reach with hands and arms, extending arms forward and above the head
• Climb ladders and stairs, and perform work at heights
• Ability lift and carry 35 pounds

 

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent appropriate General Certificates of Secondary Education or global
equivalent
• Four (4) years of experience in Logistics
• Four (4) years of experience in customer service
• Ability to communicate fluently in English (read, write, and speak)
• Proficient computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, e-mail, excel spreadsheets,
and electronic presentation programs
• Ability to lead and work within a team environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Knowledge of material management, inventory, and warehouse fundamentals

Market Rate Statement: The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
