Job Description

***Must have an active (or ability to obtain and maintain) TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance ***

This position is responsible for all assigned maintenance engineering activities on a large maintenance project or group of smaller projects and maintenance planning and control functions on a small to medium sized maintenance project. This role may supervise one or more Operations & Maintenance (O&M) employees or direct contractors. 

•    Training & Mentoring: Facilitate on-the-job training for new team members and provide ongoing skill development.
•    Day to Day Coordination: Ensure that all operational activities are executed efficiently and effectively between shifts.
•    Shift Coordination: Provide guidance and support to team members across shifts to ensure they have the resources and information they need to perform their tasks.
•    Maintaining open lines of communication: Facilitating communication and collaboration between different shifts and departments to promote a cohesive and productive work environment.
•    Troubleshooting: Provide technical support for equipment and facility issues, resolving problems as they arise.
•    Process Evaluation: Assessing operational processes and procedures to indentify areas for improvement and suggest optimizations.

•    Monitoring and ensuring compliance: Ensuring that operational activities adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
•    Collecting and analyzing data: Gathering operational data and analyzing it to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for enhancing efficiency and performance.
•    Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives: Actively participating in initiatives aimed at improving operational processes, resource utilization, and overall productivity.
•    Providing exceptional customer service: Assisting in delivering excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries or concerns related to operations.
•    Problem Resolution: Work to resolve issues raised by occupants promptly and effectively.
•    Evaluate Performance: Monitor the performance of team members and provide coaching or corrective action when necessary.
•    Adjust to Changes: Be flexible to take on additional responsibilities or shift changes as needed to meet operational demands.
•    Maintains training records and ensures they are processed properly by support staff.
•    Assists with the development and delivery of training packages.
•    Develops training and orientation concepts for review and execution, revises existing training materials as needed.
•    Develops training schedules.
•    Responsible for the development, implementation, and review of safety and health policies and programs related to training activities.
•    Audits, monitors, and provides assessment for all training related programs to ensure compliance.
•    Coordination between the immediate supervisor to review/write policies and procedures to include
SOP/ERP/MOP and submit them for review.
•    Other duties as assigned

Basic Job Requirements

• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and four (4) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to eight (8) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors

• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job

• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines

• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner

•    U.S. Citizen
•    Must demonstrate basic computer knowledge (I.e., ability to use email, internet, Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel, to effectively conduct company business on the program). Some positions may require an increased level of computer knowledge, depending on the required duties of the position.

Preferred Qualifications

• Accredited degree or global equivalent in engineering or business or equivalent work experience, with four (4) years of operations, maintenance engineering, and/or applied home office experience

• Expert in at least one (1) area of plant operations and/or maintenance technology

• Good working knowledge and experience-based understanding of industry specific programs and systems

Market Rate Statement: The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.

Salary Range: $83,000.00 - $154,000.00
