Job Description
The purpose of this position is to apply knowledge of the Company’s Health, Safety & Environmental
(HSE) practices, policies, and procedures to assist and support the Company’s HSE professionals to
create and sustain a productive work culture and safe work environment in order to avoid and minimize
human injury, environmental degradation and unsafe working conditions/practices. This is achieved
through health, safety and environmental training, programs, and processes with a visible and
uncompromised commitment to fostering positive culture and protecting people and the environment
• Operate as high levelsupport to an HSE specialist on a project or contract in the field or office
• Perform assigned tasks applying established Company procedures
• Maintain a working knowledge of the Company’s HSE standards, programs and goals by
promoting and fostering HSE procedures as established by the Company through
departmental training on a project site or in an office, Fluor University® training and the use
of knowledge management portals and communities
• Apply and enforce HSE standards and goals with programs throughout the
company and/or project to ensure a safe and productive work environment
• Create, administer and monitor HSE programs involving all levels of employees on the project or
in the office through presentations, materials, and activities
• Monitor HSE programs by creating summaries/reports/presentations for HSE management and
make recommendations based on interpretations
• Provide support in the development of HSE project plans and development of HSE specifications
• Conduct surveys, audits, evaluations, inspections, and investigations of incidents and activities to
monitor and track HSE standards, programs and goals including project environmental data
collection and documentation
• Prepare and maintain reports, or documents that may be required to meet corporate or
regulatory requirements, including monitoring the application of HSE standards and goal
Basic Job Requirements
• A combination of high school diploma and HSE related experience equal to three (3)
years; some locations may have additional or different qualifications to comply with
local requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiencesthat may include management,
coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
• Job related technical knowledge mandatory to complete the job
• Ability to focus on detail and work in a time-effective manner
Preferred Qualifications
• EPC experience
• Mega Project experience
• greenfield / brownfield project experience

Market Rate Statement: The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.

Salary Range: $56,000.00 - $104,000.00
