Job Description
We are seeking a Preventative Maintenance and Preservation Supervisor to oversee the care and preservation of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC equipment that is stored in warehouses prior to permanent installation. In this position is to oversee and direct the performance of all field material activities for assigned craft in conformance with plans, specifications, schedules, and preventive maintenance. This position requires a working knowledge and background of assigned work, the ability to appreciate and resolve complex situations with assistance, and see actions as a series of steps. This role requires proficiency in directing assigned staff as necessary for their roles to meet or exceed all project objectives.
• Plan and direct the work activities within assigned construction staff in alignment with available engineering deliverables, tools, construction equipment, and materials; coordinate with other areas as necessary
• Approve or authorize the coordination of personnel, material, and equipment needed to meet schedules
• Issue weekly preservation requirements to subcontractors
• Witness preservation activities as part of subcontractor surveillance
• Verify preservation activities are performed in accordance with the reporting database
• Load preservation activities defined by engineering into the electronic tracking and reporting system (MC Plus)
• Assist with or update weekly KPI reporting
• Provide preservation reports to the Quality Assurance department
• Order occasional materials/tools needed for subcontractors to perform preventative maintenance
• Analyze situations, identify and forecast pertinent problems and evaluate realistic options; and recommend/implement appropriate course of action
• Adhere to and support Fluor's Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies
• Other duties as assigned
Basic Job Requirements
• Craft certification, training, and experience appropriate for assignment scope; directly related experience equal to twelve (12) years; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
Other Job Requirements
• Serve as lead person to coordinate all activities within their assigned scope in an active construction work area
• Coordinate and implement indirect activities, internal and external, required to support a productive construction execution; including functional staff support, support craft activities, and any other resource necessary to assure a safe and quality execution
• Assure all work undertaken is within approved scope boundaries and is in full compliance with all pertinent requirements
• Two (2) years of work-related experience executing preventive maintenance and preservation
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work with electronic tracking systems and reporting tools.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC equipment is a plus
• Detail-oriented and able to follow engineering-defined processes.

• Basic computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, e-mail, spreadsheets and electronic presentation programs

Market Rate Statement: The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.

Salary Range: $92,000.00 - $171,000.00
