Job Description
The General Services Lead reports to the General Services Director and serves as the Deputy for the GS Department, assuming departmental leadership responsibilities during the Director’s absence. The position supports the planning, coordination, administration, and execution of General Services functions across the project.
The role requires demonstrated supervisory and management experience, strong General Services knowledge, and the ability to independently manage complex workstreams. Key responsibilities include developing and reviewing Scopes of Work, preparing complete technical and commercial bid packages, supporting contractor prequalification and bid evaluations, administering contracts after award, monitoring contractor performance, and coordinating with Contracts, Procurement, Construction, HSE, Finance, and other project functions.
The successful candidate should have experience with contract administration, commercial and technical documentation, contractor management, reporting, cost and schedule awareness, and project procedures. The individual must be capable of providing leadership to GS personnel, mentoring less-experienced staff, and representing the General Services Department in meetings with senior project management, contractors, and the client.
• Typically manage personnel and provide an environment for the development and professional advancement of staff members, including on-the-job and formal training, development opportunities, and timely performance feedback
• Organize and prioritize a variety of complex projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities and meet critical time deadlines

Basic Job Requirements
• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and fifteen (15) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to nineteen (19) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job. General Services experience, contract/SOW development experience, and proven supervisory or management capability.
• Fluency in English and Spanish, strong written and verbal communication skills
• Minimum 10 years of experience working on mining projects within EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management) organizations.
