Job Description
Supervises the Department of Public Works function within assigned AOR. Coordinates and schedules activities of departments within the public works family to ensure services are provided on a timely basis. Reports the operation status of the assigned organization to public works management and/or site management. Provides technical and public works assistance and support to projects. Interprets code, standards, and specifications to ensure compliance with these statues during delivery of services. Performs inspections and audits of public works activities to determine conformance with specified requirements. Provides instruction and training for special processes and procedures. Develops procedures and programs for providing technical support. Communicates with company and project management as well as designers and client representatives in the establishment and implementation of public works programs. Trains, schedules, and supervises subordinate public works employees. Other duties as assigned.
Basic Job Requirements
High school diploma / GED equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and eight (8) years to eleven (11) years related experience.
Other Job Requirements
Requires computer skills and proficiency using email, Microsoft Office or specialized applications as necessary to perform assigned job functions. To ensure compliance with safety, health and security requirements in the contract, employee will possess the ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language at the intermediate level as necessary to perform assigned job functions.
