Requires computer skills and proficiency using email, Microsoft Office or specialized applications as necessary to perform assigned job functions. To ensure compliance with safety, health and security requirements in the contract, employee will possess the ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language at the intermediate level as necessary to perform assigned job functions.
Candidate must possess TB Med 530 - Tri Service Food Code or ServSafe Manager Certification at time of hire and maintain TB Med 530 - Tri Service Food Code or ServSafe Manager Certification for the duration of employment.
• Military Regulations: Extensive knowledge of Military (Tri-Service Food Code/TB Med 530) regulations and related policies governing food storage, food preparation, serving, and food service sanitation.
• Military Publications: Knowledge of AR 30-22, DA PAM 30-22, TM 4-41.11, TM 4-41.12, DoD 1338.10-M, and ATP 4-41.
• Software Proficiency: Experience using AFMIS and STORES applications and the ability to obtain an account.
• Language Skills: Ability to read, write, understand, and speak clearly in English at an intermediate level, and effectively communicate instructions to others.
• Medical Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain annual food service medical clearance.
• Driver's License: Must have a valid State Driver’s License.
• Background Check: Ability to pass a Military Background Check for access to military installations.
• Work Authorization: Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Computer Skills: Proficiency using email, Microsoft Office, or specialized applications necessary to perform assigned job functions.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior Military and/or Contingency Operations experience
• Culinary certification or degree.
• Advanced education in the Food Services field.
• Experience working on LOGCAP or other similar Contingency Contracts (e.g., AFCAP, GCS-MAC, CNG&T).
