Fuel Distribution System Driver/Operator (Tier 2)

Monitors and maintains aviation, diesel, and mogas fuels in the tanks of a fuel farm. Performs usage calculations, initiates service orders, and required fuel amounts for tank filling. Performs routine logistical functions including preparation of receiving or shipping documents. Inspects samples of fuels, and checks gravity and flashpoint. Gauges tanks for water, temperature, and fuel levels. Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on fuel terminal systems. Operate fuel trucks as needed to transport fuel from designated fuel farm to designated fuel distribution points such as Forward Arial Refueling Points (FARP) and retail fuel points.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED:
As directed by management, may supervise employees or subcontractor personnel in accordance with the “General Supervisory Duties and Responsibilities” addendum
TYPICAL EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma / GED equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and one (1)year to three (3) years related experience Requires the job knowledge, skill level and physical abilitynecessary to perform assigned job functions.
Other Job Requirements:
Must possess minimum of Class A Commercial Diver License (CDL) or equivalent.
