At Fluor, we’re looking for a Principal Process Engineer who’s a genuine Technical Expert in mineral processing (Lithium + other Critical Minerals) and who also enjoys building high-performing teams. Someone who enjoys being the calm voice in the room when the mass balance is wobbling and the client meeting is in 10 minutes.

Owning technical assurance: process philosophies, flowsheets, execution strategies, design reviews, and discipline delivery. Building and leading teams. Being the client-facing process authority: running workshops, owning the technical narrative, and confidently representing Fluor in key forums. Driving wet plant process design: mass balances, process route selection, and practical solutions that work in the real world (not just on paper). Supporting business development: shaping proposals, providing technical input, and helping land work with compelling, winning solutions.

YOUR experience

• Strong mineral processing background with a primary focus on Lithium and other Critical Minerals.
• Proven experience acting as Process Functional Lead (technical assurance + team leadership + discipline delivery).
• Demonstrated capability across studies, FEED, and execution phases.
• Solid experience in wet plant process design, mass balance development, and process route selection.
• Track record working with tier-one EPC / EPCM environments or major resources clients (preferred).
