Job Description
This position is responsible for coordinating the effective execution of all maintenance and operations support activities for a small to medium sized maintenance contract and/or small capital project. This position supervises maintenance entry level personnel and/or maintenance supervisors.
• Contribute to project effectiveness by assisting with the interpretation of engineering drawings, work orders, specifications and manufacturer’s technical data materials; also assist or perform diagnostics of equipment failures and recommend solutions to solving equipment reliability problems
• Improve service results by developing and implementing work process improvements in assigned area of responsibility
• Maintain workflow by approving completed work orders and storing requisitions for materials
• Make sure work is carried out in an efficient manner by coordinating daily work schedules with the customer’s operations, including personnel deployment, materials coordination and information availability
• As directed, fulfill contract and Operating System Requirements (OSR)/Operating System Implementation Plan (OSIP) requirements by ensuring that the duties and responsibilities of the project contract are clearly defined, documented and followed by the Fluor team
• Maintain staff by supervising and motivating craft workers with skills focused in the installation, repair, preventive and predictive maintenance, removal, operation, or adjustment of equipment or components in accordance with project procedure requirements and specifications
• Other duties as assigned
Basic Job Requirements
- Associate degree or higher degree in engineering, construction management or related degree can be substituted for equivalent work experience and technical expertise in asset management, road maintenance, or in a related field
- 5 years maintaining complex highway infrastructure projects, and/or, 5 years of management of reconstruction associated with major urban freeways.
- Knowledge of roadway, structure, and bridge construction methods, materials, standards and specifications.
- Read and interpret roadway, bridge, and structure plans and contract specifications.
- Working knowledge of state and federal safety, environment, and EEO/DBE guidelines and regulations.
- Working skill in operating computer equipment, software programs and field inspection equipment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
- Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
Other Job Requirements
- Valid Arizona Driver’s License with good driving record
- OSHA 30 Certificate (or must obtain within 6 months)
- AATSA Work Zone Supervisor (or must obtain within 6 months)
- Working Knowledge of AZ811 system and Blue Staking in the field (or must obtain within 6 months)

Market Rate Statement: The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
