Job Description

The PDS is a global team of subject matter experts, process architects, process, and equipment engineers within the ATLS Division of Fluor. Our team serves the life sciences, advanced manufacturing, semiconductor, data center and battery manufacturing industries.

 

The facilities integration team leads the development of feasibility studies, conceptual designs and early basic design packages following an established front-end design process Fluor refers to as EPIC. This is a technical role that reports to the head of the facilities integration team, or a senior architect. The architectural visualization team plays a pivotal role in bringing architectural designs to life through visual representations.

 
Creating 3D Models and Visualizations:

• The team collaborates with architects and designers to plan and visualize construction projects.

• They use 3D modeling software to create detailed digital models of buildings, interiors, landscapes, and urban spaces.

• While 3D models provide a realistic view, 2D drawings remain crucial.

• The team creates technical drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and site plans.

• These drawings serve as a foundation for construction and coordination with other professionals.

 

Animation and Walkthroughs:

• To enhance understanding, the team produces animations and walkthroughs.

• Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR)

• They resolve design issues in 3D, ensuring alignment with the project’s vision.

• Accuracy and high-quality outputs are maintained throughout.

Balancing Multiple Projects and Deadlines

• Architectural visualization teams often work on several projects simultaneously.

• They manage their time effectively to meet deadlines and deliver exceptional results.

Basic Job Requirements

• A combination of education and directly related experience equal to two (2) years

• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors

• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job

• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines

• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner

• Knowledge of commercial availability and cost of materials

• Practical field experience

• Intermediate computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, e- mail, spreadsheet and electronic presentation programs

• Participate in Fluor University courses for continued learning experiences.

• Utilize the Fluor Knowledge Management processes to capture, support and leverage relevant knowledge to enhance project execution, if appropriate.

• A portfolio of recent projects, representative of rendering and visualization techniques shall be submitted prior to interview.

Market Rate Statement: The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.

Salary Range: $118,500.00   -  $213,500.00
