Job Description
This is an entry level position with job duties that support the achievement project milestones and goals.
• Prepare, maintain, retrieve, and communicate records, reports, or documents that may be required to meet corporate and Contract Management requirements
• Assist in supporting to Contract Management activities on large-scale projects; duties may include assisting multiple Contract Administrators and Contract Managers with the preparation and execution of pre-award and post-award activities
• Support Contracts Administrator in the pre-qualification process of subcontractors; issue a pre-qualification questionnaire to bidders/contractors, collect and consolidate the data
• Prepare and maintain all electronic and hard copy files in accordance with Fluor’s Practices
• Arrange and schedule meetings
• Perform contract document distribution and control for reviews and approvals
• Other duties as assigned
Basic Job Requirements
• No required combination of education and directly related experience; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
Other Job Requirements
• Stay current/updated with Contract Management practices and procedures; remain informed of current developments and potential changes within the Contract Management group
• Participate in Fluor University® for training and career development
Preferred Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent appropriate General Certificates of Secondary Education or global equivalent preferred
• Intermediate computer and software skills to include the use of word processing and email; as well as intermediate use of spreadsheets and electronic presentations
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented
• Self-motivated professional
• Ability to provide thorough and skillful administrative support
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize to achieve project goals
• Flexibility to handle multiple routine and non routing tasks on a daily basis
• Ability to learn contract management work processes and perform related tasks
• Ability to create and maintain tracking logs and lists
• Experience in creating expense reports
