Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Finance Analyst to support the National Security Director in both day-to-day financial operations and long-term strategic initiatives. In this dynamic role, you will deliver timely, actionable financial insights to internal stakeholders and senior leadership supporting complex U.S. Government programs. Your work will directly influence investment decisions, program performance, and strategic direction in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

 

As a key member of our Finance team, you will collaborate across multiple functional areas, including:

  • National Security Director of Finance
  • Sales and Operations Leadership
  • Project and Capture Managers
  • Mission Support Teams (Project Controls, Supply Chain, Pricing & Estimating, PBS, HR)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct financial modeling, forecasting, and what-if scenario analysis for complex government contracts
  • Develop and evaluate business cases across multiple contract types (CPAF, CPFF, FFP, CR)
  • Analyze and report cost transition burdening and perform project-level financial reviews
  • Support proposal efforts by developing new business cases and investment justifications
  • Deliver timely and accurate ad hoc financial analysis to inform strategic business decisions
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance, accuracy, and performance against budget
  • Develop and monitor Work Authorizations across multiple programs
  • Support the creation and submission of pricing models, Basis of Estimates (BOEs), Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), and Requests for Equitable Adjustments (REAs)
  • Participate in contract negotiations by providing financial support and multiple scenario planning models

Basic Job Requirements

• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and seven (7) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to eleven (11) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements  

• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders  

• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job  

• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines  

• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner   

Other Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
  • 8+ years of relevant financial analysis experience in a government contracting environment
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis using advanced MS Excel
  • Strong understanding of government contract compliance (FAR, CAS)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to engage senior stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Active TS/SCI required

Preferred Qualifications

 

    • 12+ years of experience supporting U.S. Government programs, preferably within the Intelligence Community (IC) or Department of Defense (DoD)
    • Experience leading financial planning and analysis for large-scale federal programs
    • Proven track record of driving insights and influencing decisions in a cross-functional environment
    • Experience creating visual dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
    • Familiarity with ERP and financial management systems such as CostPoint, SAP, or Fluor’s ERM
    • Understanding of cost reporting structures and program performance metrics
    • TS/SCI with Polygraph highly preferred

Market Rate Statement: The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
