Job Description
The Senior Project Information Manager (PIM) acts as the Project Manager of automation technology for the project, managing the information technology, automation and information/data management requirements for the project team. The PIM is charged with maximizing the efficiency of the project team and achieving the project goals through the best application of automation technology tools and methods. This position is normally assigned to a project with complex automation issues, multiple sites, and work-sharing locations. This role may manage or provide direct and general supervision to other PIMs.
- Responsible for all automation-related activities on a project.
- Promote and ensure effective knowledge sharing behaviors in the use of Fluor’s knowledge management portals and communities.
- Work with the client and project management to analyze and develop the work process, and identify the desired electronic interaction among the client, partners, contractors, suppliers, and Fluor
- Coordinate the automation scope, services, budget, and schedule.
- Coordinate design automation kickoff activities and provide overall cross-discipline automation coordination.
- Identify and coordinate the automation project turnover and close-out activities.
- Serves as the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) for multiple United States Government
- (USG) information systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant security directives and policies.
- Leads and oversees the full Risk Management Framework (RMF) lifecycle for assigned USG systems, from categorization through continuous monitoring.
- Applies in-depth knowledge of NIST SP 800‑53 security controls to guide system owners, assess control implementation, and drive remediation activities.
- Ensures compliance with ICD 503 requirements for the authorization and ongoing assessment of national security systems.
- Coordinates with security assessors, system engineers, and mission partners to develop, maintain, and validate RMF documentation including SSPs, POA&Ms, and security assessment reports.
- Provides authoritative guidance on security control inheritance, boundary definition, and tailoring to maintain system accreditation.
- Monitors system posture and drive continuous modernization of cybersecurity practices to align with evolving USG policies and threat landscapes.
- Advises senior leadership on cybersecurity risks, system authorization status, and mitigation strategies to support mission readiness.
- Leads preparation for security assessments and authorization reviews, ensuring evidence and documentation meet all USG compliance requirements.
- Implements continuous monitoring strategies and ensures timely reporting and remediation of system vulnerabilities.

Basic Job Requirements
• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and twelve (12) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to sixteen (16) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
Other Job Requirements

• Specialize in data analyst skills and/or data quality management
• Specialize in business process modeling and management
• Conduct surveillance of industry, client, and competitor intelligence (e.g., conferences, seminars, etc.)
• Conduct training courses for specialties or Project Information Management (PIM) procedures and solutions
• Support Excel to Win (ETW) Strategies
• Support Business Transformation & Innovation (BT&I) initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
- Accredited four (4) year degree or two (2) year diploma, or global equivalent in Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Construction, or Computer Science is preferred
- Eight (8) years of experience in project management or Information Management (IM) lead position
- Three (3) years of experience in Project Information Management/Information Technology/Automation
- Four (4) years of experience in Automation support, Computer Aided Design (CAD) coordination, Project Controls, Engineering, or Procurement/contracts, or equivalent is recommended
- Current certification of ISC² Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or ISACA Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)

Market Rate Statement: The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
