Position Summary
Fluor is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to support the Program’s Finance Manager in delivering high-impact financial management, analysis, and reporting services. This role is embedded at the customer site and plays a critical part in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency across the program lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will have experience in government contracting, strong analytical skills, and a proactive, collaborative approach to problem-solving. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines, and a commitment to supporting both internal Fluor functions and external government stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
· Assist in the development, analysis, and submission of client-specific and internal financial reports
· Track labor hours, including overtime, and reconcile vendor invoices and purchase orders
· Support monthly financial close processes and accrual submissions
· Manage and report on Other Direct Costs (ODC), work authorizations, and project charge numbers
· Develop and maintain project forecasts and Estimates at Completion (EAC)
· Perform ad hoc financial analysis for both customer and internal stakeholders
· Utilize Costpoint and Excel for financial deliverables and reporting
· Collaborate with Project Controls, Contracts, Billing, HR, and Supply Chain teams
· Contribute to Basis of Estimate (BOE), pricing, Engineering Change Proposals (ECP), and Requests for Equitable Adjustment (REA)
· Support compliance with FAR, CAS, and Fluor’s internal financial policies

Basic Job Requirements
• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and five (5) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to nine (9) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
Other Job Requirements
· Active TS/SCI Clearance with Poly
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
· Highly proficiency in Excel
· Minimum 4 years of experience in financial analysis or project controls within government contracting
· Strong quality control and analytical skills
· Familiarity with multiple contract types (CPAF, FFP, LOE, CR) within the DoD / IC community
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
· Experience supporting USG sponsor programs
Preferred Qualifications
· Proficiency in Costpoint
· Experience with Government Working Capital Funds
· Knowledge of Fluor’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) systems
· Demonstrated ability to meet short timelines and manage competing priorities
· Prior experience in an Engineering and Construction environment
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Exposure to foreign currency budgeting and reporting

Market Rate Statement: The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.

Salary Range: $102,000.00 - $184,000.00
