Job Description
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper execution of sustainable capital projects with a scope of €40–100 million TIC, guaranteeing compliance with safety, quality, value, schedule, and profitability standards.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead project execution in accordance with the contract.
- Ensure HSE requirements are integrated into all project phases.
- Develop a full understanding of the main contract and associated subcontracts.
- Prepare and maintain the project baseline and ensure proper communication to the team.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and supervise technical and commercial performance.
- Verify compliance with safety, quality, cost, and productivity requirements across all project locations.
- Participate in technical and commercial proposal activities, including estimating, planning, and strategy development.

Basic Job Requirements
- 4-year university degree (engineering or technical discipline) and minimum 8 years of related experience, or 12 years of equivalent experience.
- Proven experience leading engineering, construction, or EPCm projects in the petrochemical sector for clients such as Repsol, BP, BASF, Moeve or similar.
- Strong communication skills with diverse stakeholders: management, clients, suppliers, and contractors.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
- Sufficient technical knowledge to manage the full project lifecycle.
- Strong attention to detail and effective time management skills.
Other Job Requirements
- Previous experience as Project Engineer, Project Specialist, or roles in Project Controls, Contracts, etc.
- In-depth knowledge of EPC/EPCm processes: engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning.
- Strong knowledge in Project Controls such as:
* Planning and resource loading (Microsoft Project)
* Progress measurement
* Risk management
* Work breakdown structures (WBS, CoA)
* Cost control
* Change management
* Margin analysis
- Basic understanding of contracts, legal aspects, and regulations.
- PMP certification is a plus.
- Proactive mindset, resilience, influencing skills, and leadership of multidisciplinary teams.
- Availability for travel or temporary site assignments.
- Site experience and knowledge of safety programs is a plus.
- International or multicultural experience is valued.
