Job Description
This is an entry level position. The Associate Data Integration Specialist role provides local project
support for MasterPlant™ or other project automation technology. These technical specialists provide
basic end user project support, project configuration, or project modifications.
Principal Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide technical configuration and office support for the MasterPlant™ technology in
conjunction with the office Project Systems & Data Manager or senior Project Automation
Specialist (PAS)
- Work with the Project Automation Lead to analyze any technical implementation or
configuration issues for the MasterPlant™ technology
- Develop and support project and functional data models for the purpose of integration,
reporting, analytics, visualization and information exchange
- Structure and integrate data in a single‐source‐of‐truth environment to support data quality
plans and promote data assurance that align with industry methodologies and standards such
as BIM and ISO
- Work with the Project Automation and Information Management individuals to develop
procedures and standards that document data requirements and work processes
- Provide end user office support, project setup and configuration, or special project
modifications required for the automation technology under the direction of a senior PAS
- Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying
complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines
- Employ effective knowledge sharing behaviors in the use of Fluor’s knowledge management
portals and communities
- Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards
- Adhere to and support Fluor's Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies
- Effectively develop and apply the Core Skills to the job
- May need to travel to attend to business related matters
- Meet expectations on attendance and punctuality
- Other duties as assigned
Basic Job Requirements
- Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in Computer Science or Data Science with 1-2 years of work‐related experience (co-op included)
- Ability to support technical requirements of position, including working experience with data
models, coding language (Python or SQL), SQL (SSIS packaging and SRSS), MS Power Platform
and API
- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to
management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
- Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national
statutes and guidelines
- Ability to attend to detail and work in a time‐conscious and time‐effective manner
- Experience working with CAD systems and or Hexagon technology a benefit, but not essential
