Job Description
We are looking for New Grad Mechanical Engineering EIT’s to join our team!
Mechanical EIT Responsibilities:
- Work on a variety of equipment engineering tasks such as maintenance of equipment list and compiling equipment data
- Assist other mechanical engineers in a variety of tasks including performing simple calculations, organizing completed equipment data sheets for technical bid evaluations, and gathering of engineering data for investigation of equipment performance
- Specify simple equipment and solve engineering problems of simple to moderate complexity
- Assist in the review of supplier equipment documentation within the discipline and from other disciplines for compliance with project requirements, and actively seek discrepancy resolution
- Plan, organize and take ownership of work assignments
- Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards
- Other duties as assigned
Career Path:
- Develop into Lead Mechanical Engineer responsible for complete Engineering and Design
- Develop into a Technical Expert Mechanical Engineer (Subject Matter Expert/Fellow) in your field of experience
- Develop into Engineering Managers on projects directing entire Engineering efforts or develop into Project Engineers and Project Managers
- Develop into Engineering Support and Project Control roles in the project team.
Basic Job Requirements
- Graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2025/2026.

Compressed work schedule: The Fluor Canada offices work a compressed work schedule offering every second Friday off.
Salary is based upon experience. Salary Range: $53,500.00 - $99,500.00
The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
